Dear Class of 2004,
It is with deep regret we are canceling our Statesville High School 10 year reunion in Statesville, NC due to lack of registration and support. We are saddened not to be able to get together this year to see everyone, have some fun and fellowship with one another. But, as we all know these types of events require significant funding.
The planning committee put forth great effort to encourage everyone to pay their monies and register online. As this did not happen, the planning committee made the decision to cancel the reunion. The committee was able reconcile the outstanding balances with the various vendors, and ensure refunds for those that paid registration fees.
For those that paid the registration fee at ANY point this year, refunds will began to be disbursed within the next 2 weeks, using the mailing address provided at your time of payment.
Although our plans for a reunion did not come to pass, the planning committee would strongly encourage those that can, still attend the SHS homecoming game on Oct. 24th and meet up at twisted oats (formerly Black Angus) afterward, if interested. Please note that these activities will NOT be sponsored by the planning committee.
Again, the planning committee would like to give a huge “thank you”, for the support of our attempts. We sincerely hope that we can have a 15 and/or 20 year reunion, and we look forward to your support at that time.
